Tiramisu Recipe



My take on Tiramisu! To my surprise, it tasted EXACTLY like Tiramisu!

The ingredients I used:

Ingredients for the cake: 6 eggs, 6 tablespoons of sugar, 6 tablespoons of flour, 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 2 teaspoons baking soda.

Ingredients for the frosting:
4 eggs, 2 cups milk, 300g Mascarpone cheese, whipping cream (8oz),  1 cup sugar, cocoa to sprinkle on top, chocolate to grate on top, 2 cups sweetened strong coffee.

Lentils and Potatoes Soup


For rainy days, a light and delicious meatless soup. I can never get enough of this healthy soup.

Ingredients:
1 big onion
3 carrots
4 medium size potatoes
3 sticks celery
2 cups green lentils
1 8 oz can of tomato sauce

Saute onions with celery and finely dices carrots (I usually grate the carrots).


Add the the lentils and saute them for a 4-5 minutes.


Add 7-8 cups of water and the tomato sauce. Towards the end, add the potatoes cut into small cubes.

French Potatoes Casserole


A simple dish, so easy to make and so tasty. Without going through too much trouble, this delicious dinner could be ready without a lot of planning.

Ingredients:
3 lbs boiled potatoes cut into thin slices
4 hard boiled eggs cut into this slices
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup sour cream
2 cups grated cheese (cheddar or Monterrey Jack)

All thess yummy ingredients are layered into a dip dish pan. Of course, almost one cup of cheese goes on top. 

It bakes into a 350 F oven for 30 minutes. Ten more minutes under a high broiler until the cheese looks just right.
